Our small town is the best
A miracle life for miracle folks
Up in the mountain ranges
Children play in the streets
Unburdened of fear and unburdened of thought
Like an animal
But the local saloon
Will shelter some goons and bikers and Trish
The local prostitute who’ll
Suck you off like the
Vacuum deep in your hear where your feelings should be
You disturbing mess
Yield to the town’s underbelly
Soft and white and exposed and
Vulnerable to criticism
That is cannot handle
Glaring begging the weapon
To penetrate through the microcosms
Of our happiness
Cops ignore the creeps
Take a little piece for themselves and their kids
Because they’re good providers
Trish ends up in a trash bag
Body parts frothing from out of the top
Such is life up here
